In the deep south of Sulawesi - Indonesia, this coral bommie of stinging fire coral created not just a safe haven for a colony of anemones and their commensal anemonefish, it was also a magnificent natural living sculpture of underwater life.
Flat topped because at low tide the coral would touch the surface,it was a “Castle of Fire” protecting the beautiful creatures that lived within and around it.
Kastil Api is Bahasa Indonesian for "Castle of Fire"
