After travelling to the other side of the world and four days of attempting to locate these wondrous creatures, we were finally rewarded at the end of the last day with a pod on the move swimming past our boat. This young calf alternated its behaviour between timid shyness and comic cheekiness. This is a beautiful moment in time when together with its mother it cruised past within arms reach slowly looking me over. These dolphins often swim together maintaining touch between each other with their fins.
