Feather worms or tube worms are incredibly delicate, so much so that they instantaneously withdraw into a protective tube at the slightest disturbance. This worm allowed me one photograph. After the flash went off, it was gone. I waited patiently for 10 minutes and although it did begin to re-emerge several times, the bubbles of my breathing disturbed it each time.
