Jewelled anemones, each the size of a 5c coin, cluster in large numbers onto the reefs, wrecks and piers that are situated in calm waters within our cold southern ocean. Resembling plants, each disk is actually an animal complete with a central mouth. Extremely delicate and beautiful in appearance, these subjects were photographed in King George Sound, Albany on the side of the HMAS Perth wreck-site.
