Euphyllia corals like this one are unique, there is no other coral species similar. Two variations of this coral exist, one with tentacles that form the shape of a C, the other with tentacles shaped like the head of a hammer. At first I thought I had found a new type of anemone. Instead, I had found possibly the most beautiful and delicate species of coral in the undersea world.
