When chromis fish are up and about feeding in the water column, it creates wondrous sense of motion that rises and falls in a building crescendo of dance above the coral. A split instant later, in reaction to a passing larger fish, they almost disappear into the reef only to gradually rise again once any perception of danger has passed.
