Giant magnifica anemones curl themselves up into a ball when either feeding on captured prey or for protection and I found this one in such a state. The anemonefish was quite concerned about my proximity but had no tentacles to hide within whilst I took its photograph. Found across the top of Australia including Ningaloo, Rowley Shoals and out to Christmas and Cocos Islands.
