Emperor angelfish are one of the most stunningly coloured of their species and I found the pattern of stripes across its back and down towards its tail and the rear dorsal fin completely enticing. It took a lot of patience on this dive to get close enough to the fish without scaring it away. Essentially I had to shadow the fish but not look directly at it and not appear to be paying it any attention. Only then after the better part of a complete dive was I able to take the time to get this one shot.
